In the beginning, Beauty did not fall in love with the Beast but with his library.
The spectacular library that inspired the Disney film “Beauty and the Beast” really exists and is located in Austria, in the Abbey of St Florian, near Linz.
The library holds over 150,000 volumes and is topped by a splendid frescoed ceiling.
